Fabio Capello Resigns as England Coach

Fabio Capello has sensationally resigned from his position as England coach tonight, just months before Euro 2012 in Ukraine & Poland.

Capello spoke out earlier this week over the FA’s handling of John Terry’s removal as captain of the squad over alleged racist remarks made in a Premier League game against QPR.

Following talks at Wembley Stadium today with FA chairman David Bernstein he walked out with immediate effect.

He raged to an Italian news agency: “They (the FA) really insulted me and damaged my authority.”

In other news Harry Redknapp now a massive 4/1 favourite to take the reigns at England was cleared of tax evasion.
