Ukraine to house Euro 2012 fans in un-used Army bases

The Donbass Arena is ready and waiting for the Euro 2012 tournament to kick-off in just under 2 years time. The new arena cost a whopping £248 million to complete but was is well ahead of schedule.

Football club Shakhtar Donetsk will use the stadium as their home ground playing the first game on 26th September.

Holding up to 50,000 people the stadium will also play host to concerts and performances throughout the year and has great amenities such as cafes, restaurants and a club museum.
